Rainey Gaffin, James’ fiancé, was a member of Tennessee’s softball team from 2013-2016.

The Colorado native, according to UTSports.com, majored in Psychology at UT. James majored in Arts and Sciences at Tennessee.

James’ former Vol teammate Tyler Bray was one of the may folks to tweet their congratulations to the happy couple.

James, an Atlanta native, is entering his fourth season in the NFL.

More from Tenn Truth

The former Vol was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. James started all 16 games as a rookie. He also started the first seven games of the 2015 season, before he suffered a season ending injury.

James was inconsistent at times in 2016, but he showed enough potential for the Dolphins to pick up his fifth year option earlier this off-season.

Miami, however, can void the option if James doesn’t perform well in 2017.

But I wouldn’t expect that to happen.

James has proved throughout his football career to be a durable offensive lineman that brings a steadiness to his team.

The Dolphins have likely found their longterm answer at right tackle. James should be a player that starts in the NFL for a long time to come.

And before we forget, congrats to Ja’Wuan and his soon-to-be bride.
